There's a path where he wins. There's a path where he loses so badly the jury laughs as he walks out. There's a path where he runs for President of the United States, which reads as satire until you remember a reality TV star already did that, and then it's something else entirely. And running through every timeline — through every blindside, every alliance, every vote — is the same question Stoffel has been asking since Book 1: what are you willing to lose to get the thing you think you want?

The first book was the real story. Glitter, scheme's, a million dollars, and the mess he made finding it. Books 2 through 4 mapped the origin, the grief, and the fantasy — different dimensions of the same life. Book 5 is the game he never played but lived anyway.
